Virgin Mobile still on top in Latin America
WorkBench’s long term customer, Virgin Mobile Latin America, retains the highest market share of MVNO subscribers in the region for the 7th consecutive year. With a market share in Colombia of 72%, Mexico of 45% and in Chile of 48%, Virgin Mobile is the largest MVNO and also has the widest geographic spread.
Virgin Mobile Latin America launched operations in a record-breaking 4 countries within 3 years reaching at it speak 3 million subscribers. “WorkBench played an important role in growing the business from a PowerPoint presentation into a $100m+ business.” Commented ex CEO and President Peter Macnee.

For three consecutive years VMLA won the ALCO Customer Loyalty award for having the highest Net Promoting Score (NPS) index in the telecommunications industry in Chile.
WorkBench provided important functions in the early growth stages of the Virgin mobile in each of its operations. Pre-launch roles included market entry planning, strategy, host operator negotiations and fundraising preparation. WorkBench provide interim CEO leadership during the launch phases as well as technical procurement and the full launch project management. Post-launch, WorkBench worked with the Group senior management team on operations performance management, digitalisation programs and new innovations.
